OPINION

MURRAY, Justice.

This is an appeal by the defendants, Thomas Ricci and Frank DiMauro. Thomas Ricci was convicted on October 16, 1985 of obtaining money by false pretenses, in violation of G.L. 1956 (1981 Reenactment) § 11-41-4.1 Frank DiMauro, Jr. was convicted on the same date of aiding and abetting the defendant Thomas Ricci in violation of G.L. 1956 (1981 Reenactment) § 11-1-3.2
