SIMPSON, Judge:

The Commissioner determined a deficiency of $11,353.41 in the petitioner's Federal income tax and self-employment tax for 1980 and an addition to tax of $567.67 under section 6653(a) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.1 The issues for decision are: (1) Whether $30,000 which the petitioner received in 1980 when he began working for another attorney for a period of 2 years...
