Douglas Neal Adams appeals from his conviction for possession of a controlled substance with two prior felony convictions proven for enhancement. See TEX.REV.CIV.STAT.ANN. art. 4476-15, sec. 4.04(a) & (b) (Vernon Supp.1987). A jury found the appellant guilty and assessed his punishment at 60 years in the Texas Department of Corrections.
