This action for personal injuries arises out of an incident that occurred in 1977 when members of the Elwyn Hewett family allegedly sustained injuries caused by the violent behavior of one of their family members, Elwyn Hewett, Jr. (a/k/a Butch Hewett) (hereinafter "Butch").
