ESQUIVEL, Justice.

This is an appeal from a judgment of conviction in a murder case.

Appellant was charged by indictment with the offense of murder, which was enhanced to a "repeater" status by the allegation of one prior felony conviction. In a jury trial, appellant was found guilty of murder. Appellant plead true to the enhancement paragraph, and the jury assessed his punishment at fifty (50) years' confinement.
