This is a worker's compensation case arising out of a work-related accident suffered by plaintiff, Jimmy L. Bankston. Following trial on the merits, judgment was rendered in favor of plaintiff and against defendant, Gregory & Cook, Inc., in the amount of $10,980.00 for unpaid compensation benefits, $8,500.00 for medical expenses, $2,337.60 for statutory penalties and, $3,180.00 for attorney's fees, a total of $24,997.60.
