Plaintiff, Jean Jew, an associate professor of anatomy at the University of Iowa, appeals from an adjudication that the district court had no original jurisdiction to consider her civil rights action. The action was brought pursuant to Iowa Code section 601A.16(1) (1985) after a release authorizing suit had been issued by the Iowa Civil Rights Commission.
