OPINION

PER CURIAM:

Plaintiff Ruth Zweifler1 sued defendant Dr. Freida Fleischer for medical malpractice for failure to diagnose endometrial adenocarcinoma, a form of cancer. The complaint was filed October 29, 1985.

On March 27, 1986, Fleischer's attorney, Harold Gewerter, served Zweifler's attorney, Gregory Hafen, with an offer of judgment pursuant to NRCP 68. The offer stated:
