In this products liability case plaintiff Linda Ingram filed suit individually and on behalf of her two children against Caterpillar Tractor Company ("Caterpillar") and Boyce Machinery Corporation ("Boyce"). In that petition plaintiff made the following allegations: that Caterpillar manufactured a forklift operated by Linda Ingram's husband, William Charles Ingram; that the design of the forklift was defective because it failed to provide safety...
