This wrongful-death action arose out of a collision between two pickup trucks. In one pickup truck were defendant Emmett Harrison, Jr., (the driver), defendant Bobby Harrison, and Theodore Drake, plaintiff's decedent. The Jackson County circuit court granted Bobby Harrison's motion for summary judgment. A jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $375,000. The jury...
