NICHOLS, Justice.

This appeal raises the threshold question of whether this insurer is liable to its insured for the replacement value of the insured's home that was destroyed by fire, and ultimately, whether the insurer should be held liable to the insured for interest on a late payment of a claim, and the insured's attorney's fees generated in pursuit of that payment.
