This dispute involves alleged violations of the securities laws stemming from an oil and gas partnership which apparently did not return the profits the investors expected. Two parties to the transaction, the financing bank and the officers and directors of the corporation which operated the wells, have moved to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction. The issue is the "minimum contacts" which the Fifth Amendment...
