The plaintiff brought this action to recover damages from the defendant for injuries, medical expenses and loss of earnings resulting from a fall on a broken curbstone between the public sidewalk and the street pavement on West Main Street in Ansonia. The incident occurred on May 8, 1980, as the plaintiff was reloading sample clothing bags in the trunk of his car after making a sales call to a nearby business...
