The defendant, Norman Potts, was charged, along with four other defendants, with participating in an altered postal money order scheme operating from the Indiana State Prison, Michigan City, Indiana. Potts was charged with and convicted of one count of conspiracy to transmit and to present altered postal money orders in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 371, 500, and nine counts of aiding and abetting transmission and presentment...
