The defendant, Willie R. Bolen, was originally charged with aggravated burglary of an inhabited dwelling. The defendant entered into a plea agreement with the state whereby he pled guilty to the lesser charge of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:62.2, and was sentenced to serve twelve years at hard labor with the sentence to run consecutively with any other sentence imposed...
