POSNER, Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal from a decision by the district court affirming the denial of social security disability benefits. Richard Glenn, age 46, formerly a baker's helper, suffers from degenerative arthritis of the hips; both his hips have been replaced. As a result of this impairment, he can no longer work as a baker's helper. The only work he can do now is sedentary. Since sedentary work is still work, it might seem to follow that he is not disabled...
