SEXTON, Judge.

The defendant, Johnny L. Johnson, was charged with the crime of manslaughter in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:31, while armed with a firearm, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:95.2. The defendant was subsequently convicted in a jury trial and sentenced to five years at hard labor without parole, probation or suspension of sentence plus an additional two years without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence pursuant to LSA-R.S. 14:31 and 14:95.2...
