This appeal arises from a suit for damages which resulted from a dog bite. The victim, eleven year old Tina Holloway, was attacked and bitten by a dog belonging to Chris and Peggy Barcelona while she was playing with the Barcelonas' daughter, Christie, in their yard. The jury found in favor of the plaintiffs, assessing total damages of $28,000.00 but finding Tina Holloway fifty percent at fault, thus reducing her award to $14,000.00. On the plaintiffs...
