Ray Edwin Billingslea was convicted of injury to an elderly individual by failing to obtain medical care for his mother. A jury found appellant guilty and assessed punishment at 99 years' confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections. Appellant asserts in five points of error that: (1) the indictment is defective since it failed to allege any statutory duty to act; (2) the evidence is insufficient since appellant was not criminally responsible...
