REEVES, Justice.

A jury found Florencio Solano guilty of murder as alleged in count 2 of a three count indictment and assessed his punishment at 20 years' confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections. He contends that he is entitled to another trial because the trial court: (1) permitted the State improperly to bolster the testimony of a witness, Joe Guajardo, with a written statement given by Guajardo to Ramero Castellano, the Sheriff of Brooks...
