This is a civil, in rem, forfeiture proceeding filed by the United States of America against the defendant premises and real property ("Portland Avenue"). Plaintiff filed a verified complaint for forfeiture pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 1955(d). That section provides that "any property, including money, used in violation of the provisions of this section may be seized and forfeited to the United States."...
