Defendant was convicted of child abuse, a second degree felony, and sentenced to a term of not less than one nor more than fifteen years at the Utah State Penitentiary. On appeal, she seeks reversal or modification of her conviction on the theory that "physical injury" as defined in Utah Code Ann. § 76-5-109(1)(b) (1986) means a single act of abuse and cannot mean several such acts.
