COUNTISS, Justice.
Appellant was convicted of murder, Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 19.02(a)(1) (Vernon 1974), and sentenced to 30 years in the penitentiary. By four grounds of error and three supplemental grounds, appellant contends the trial court reversibly erred during the penalty stage of the trial when it gave the jury the parole law instruction mandated by section 4(a) of article 37.07 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
