Defendant, Charles Adam Hutchins, a/k/a Joe Hutchins, was indicted on the charge of distribution of cocaine, in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967(A). On November 14, 1985, a twelve-person jury found defendant guilty as charged. Defendant filed a written motion for post-verdict judgment of acquittal which the trial court denied.
