An insurance policy insured the owner of an airplane for liability for death of passengers. A policy endorsement stated the insurance would be effective only when the airplane was operated by a pilot holding a current medical certificate. The airplane crashed while flown by a pilot with an expired medical certificate, killing him and his two passengers. The pilot's physical condition did not cause the crash. The...
