FLANIGAN, Judge.

A jury found defendant Gerald Richardson guilty of possession of marijuana, a controlled substance, § 195.020, RSMo 1986, V.A.M.S., and he was sentenced, as a prior offender, to five years' imprisonment. Defendant appeals.

Defendant's sole point is that the trial court erred in denying his motion for a mistrial. The motion was made by defense counsel during the prosecutor's redirect examination of the state's first witness, police officer...
