This suit was filed pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. § 552, to compel the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to release to plaintiff Carol Van Strum certain studies relating to dioxin. Both parties filed motions for summary judgment or partial summary judgment. Plaintiff has also moved for a stay to allow discovery and for an order prohibiting government destruction of evidence.
