The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ("FDIC") brought this action on June 20, 1986 to recover monies defendants Richard Ford Hinkson and William Uffelman allegedly owe FDIC. Jurisdiction for the suit is based upon 12 U.S.C. § 1819 (1982). FDIC seeks repayment from Hinkson and Uffelman based upon documents signed by them on September 14, 1973 and on February 18, 1975.
