Peoples Natural Gas Company, a division of UtiliCorp United, Inc., petitioned the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission for authority to increase rates for gas service in Minnesota in the amount of $8,144,000. The Minnesota Department of Public Service, the Residential Utility Division of the Minnesota Attorney General's Office and several taconite companies were granted leave to intervene.
