Both parties appeal from the trial court's May 17, 1985 judgment against defendant Olson, purporting to award plaintiffs their reasonable costs (plus interest) incurred in constructing four duplexes for defendants. We affirm the trial court's finding that there was no contract, and the court's conclusion that quantum meruit was, therefore, the proper theory of recovery.
