At approximately 1:00 A.M. on June 24, 1984, Roberto Ramos was killed and Rafael Cordero was seriously injured by bullets fired by defendant at a nightclub known as the Sunny Acres Villa (hereinafter Villa) in the Town of Plattekill, Ulster County.
