Robert George Cardwell, Jr. entered a plea of nolo contendere to trafficking in marijuana, reserving the right to appeal the trial court's denial of his motion to suppress. He contends that the evidence seized as the result of a warrantless police roadblock set up to apprehend drug traffickers by stopping cars without any articulable suspicion of illegal activity should be suppressed because the roadblock constituted an illegal search and seizure...
