OPINION

ESQUIVEL, Justice.

This is an appeal from a judgment of conviction in an indecency with a child case. TEX.PENAL CODE ANN. § 21.11 (Vernon Supp.1986).

The indictment alleged that appellant engaged in sexual contact with M___ A___, a child younger than 17 years and not his spouse.1 The jury found appellant guilty of the offense of indecency with a child and assessed his punishment at fifteen (15) years confinement...
