Defendant-appellant, Wilbert G. Ebey, also known as "Daigo", was charged by bill of information with two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, in violation of La.R.S. 14:95.1.

Appellant filed a pre-trial motion seeking to suppress from use at trial two firearms seized from an apartment pursuant to a search warrant. In support of this motion, defendant contended that the affidavit supporting the search warrant was insufficient...
