On December 10, 1984, pursuant to a plea agreement, defendant pleaded guilty in the circuit court of Logan County to the offense of resisting a peace officer in violation of section 31-1 of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 38, par. 31-1). Defendant was sentenced to a one-year term of court supervision and was ordered to pay a fine of $200 and court costs...
