On March 8, 1985, the defendant Tommy L. Scott was charged with aggravated burglary in violation of R.S. 14:60. He was arraigned and pled not guilty on March 12, 1985. The trial was conducted on April 10, 1985, and the defendant was found guilty of simple burglary in violation of R.S. 14:62 by a twelve person jury.
