Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant was convicted of killing a man and shooting a woman during an altercation on January 8, 1979. Although immediately a suspect, the defendant eluded the police for approximately 3½ years. He was finally apprehended on June 25, 1982, and thereafter indicted on July 29, 1982. The defendant now asserts that the hearing court improperly declined to dismiss the indictment, for he claims that the preindictment delay...
