Defendant-Appellant Lyle Lee Hutchins was convicted at the conclusion of a bench trial in the Marion Superior Court of confinement, a class B felony; attempted rape while armed, a class A felony; attempted murder, a class A felony; and violation of the Firearms Act, a class A misdemeanor.
