In this action for legal malpractice, plaintiffs, William R. Beattie and Linda K. Beattie, appeal by leave granted from a Wayne Circuit Court order afirming the district court's judgment of no cause of action based upon a directed verdict. Plaintiffs claim (1) that the district court erred when it granted a directed verdict to defendant and (2) that the district court erred when it prevented plaintiffs from eliciting expert testimony from defendant....
