A jury convicted two brothers, McAdoo and Wilson, of first degree murder while armed, D.C.Code §§ 22-2401, -3202 (1981), and carrying a pistol without a license, id., § 22-3204.1 Both appellants contend the trial court erred in refusing to grant a mistrial after the prosecutor cross-examined Wilson's character witness about his knowledge of Wilson's juvenile adjudications.
