The instant case presents the issue of whether the plaintiff, a substitute teacher for the defendant school district, was entitled to damages under section 21-9 of the School Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 122, par. 21-9) when she was employed as a substitute teacher in excess of the statutory maximum of 90 days in one school term.
