HASTINGS, Justice.

Defendant appeals an order of the district court for Antelope County denying his request for postconviction relief. We affirm.

Following a jury trial in the district court for Antelope County, defendant, Daniel Thomas Meis, was convicted of first degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He was sentenced to life imprisonment and a consecutive term of 5 years. Meis appealed his conviction, which was affirmed in
