This appeal is from a pretrial order. Respondent Michael Harrer was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol in violation of Minn.Stat. § 169.121, subd. 1(a) (1984). Harrer moved to dismiss the complaint, arguing his arrest was based on evidence obtained during an illegal detention a few minutes before the DWI arrest.
