ELLIS, Justice.

Appellant, Clemmie Lee Jackson, appeals from a judgment of conviction for the offense of attempted murder. Appellant entered a plea of not guilty. The jury found appellant guilty and assessed punishment at ten (10) years confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections plus a fine of ten thousand dollars ($10,000).
