This action was commenced in the circuit court of Peoria County by the plaintiff, Methodist Medical Center, to recover from the defendants, Larry T. Taylor and Linda J. Taylor, a portion of an unpaid hospital bill. The defendants filed several affirmative defenses to the complaint and filed a countercomplaint against the plaintiff hospital.
