Appellant Garcia was convicted on two counts of first-degree murder, three counts of robbery, and one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery with a firearm. The jury recommended, and the trial judge imposed, two death sentences on the murder convictions. The trial judge also sentenced Garcia to fifteen years on the conspiracy conviction and a consecutive life sentence on one of the robbery convictions. Guilt was adjudicated but sentences withheld...
