Court of Appeals of North Carolina.

September 2, 1986.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Whitley, Coley, and Wooten by Robert E. Whitley, Kinston, for plaintiff.

Anderson, Broadfoot, Anderson, Johnson & Anderson by Henry L. Anderson, Jr., and J. Thomas Cox, Jr., Wrightsville Beach, for defendant.

WHICHARD, Judge.

Defendant's Appeal

Defendant contends the court erred in denying its motion for directed verdict on plaintiff's contractual claims. Specifically, defendant contends that the court should have granted this motion because plaintiff failed to present sufficient evidence demonstrating his compliance with the provisions of the policy requiring the insured to produce books of account and other documents.
