OPINION

LEVY, Justice.

A jury convicted appellant of arson and assessed punishment, enhanced by two prior felony convictions, at confinement for 40 years. Appellant brings this appeal on four grounds of error.

On June 14, 1984, a fire was reported in the apartment of appellant's brother, where appellant was then residing. Upon entering the apartment, firemen found fires burning in three separate locations...
