Little Earth of United Tribes, Inc., (Little Earth) petitioned the Minnesota Tax Court for recovery of 1983 and 1984 real estate taxes paid on a housing project it owns and operates in Minneapolis. The tax court ruled that the structures comprising the housing project were taxable, rejecting Little Earth's contention that Minn.Stat. §§ 272.02, subd. 1(6), and 273.13, subd. 17 (1984), which provide for a tax on the structures comprising nonprofit...
