Derick L. Peterson appeals the denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. On October 11, 1984, the Circuit Court for the City of Hampton dismissed Peterson's petition which challenged his detention for convictions of capital murder, robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
